My series pieces.

This is the series that I did to show how I feel on the subject of Women's Periods.

I did these pieces in the hope to bring to light the troubles and pain that women go through during their periods.

Society does not like talking about this subject.

It is usually taboo.

I have been very pleased with the final products that I did.

Maybe I will put one into my portfolio.

Working in a series

I decided that I wanted to work my series as a social series. My topic was about women's periods.
With this series I hope to bring to light that it should not be a taboo subject and that it is a huge part of everyone's lives and it is a major trouble for everyone as well. We talk about diseases and ailments all the time, but women's periods is something that is not a subject that is discussed very much within our society.

Crosses for the cure alzheimers.

Doing this project I felt the need to use it to show that my faith comes from nature. Nature is a huge part of who I am and how I feel about why I am here.
This is reflected in the way that Jousha and I used are colors and the moss that we put upon our cross.

I am very pleased at how it turned out.

Elements of design board.

This board, was also not something that I enjoyed.

Again, I loved playing with the backround, whereas I played with a string paper and acrylic.

I did notice that I played more with my colors and shapes on this board.

I tried, but I feel as though I could do better, if I wanted to do the project.

Design board.

I really did not like doing this project. I did enjoy designing the backround. I used burlap for it.

The parts that I did not like was the tedious part. It did not entice me in the way that I had hoped.

I did like how I started to play with the colors more.

But overall, this is not a project I would do willingly again.

My scratchboard for design 1.

I had already done a few scratch boards before I stopped with them, and did this one. I was not happy with them.

Though I am very pleased with this finished product, I feel as though I could have done much better.

This piece represents The Firebird Suite from Fantasia 2000.

Not only does this piece entire my love of "life, death, and rebirth", it also hits my nature side as well.

I feel as though if I knew my mediums better when I did this piece, it may have turned out even better.

I used acrylic paint, clayboard with acrylic, scratch tools, and spackling.
